I’m a writer and reporter living in Louisville, Kentucky. I write for the Features section of the Louisville Courier-Journal.

My writing has appeared in Next American City, the New York Observer, the Rumpus, and other publications.

I grew up in Massachusetts, went to college at McGill University in Montreal, and received an MA in journalism from New York University.

I’ve interned for McSweeney’s, the Believer, A Public Space, Triple Canopy, Studio 360, and the New York Observer.

I keep a tumblog updated more frequently than this site.
